Lactose intolerance
Lactose intolerance can be easily determined from genetic information.
Lactose intolerance is a metabolic disease caused by the deficiency of an enzyme that breaks down lactose. The gene test will tell you whether your gene that encodes the production of lactase is “turned on” or not – in other words, whether you have a genetic risk of developing lactose intolerance or not. If the enzyme is at least partially active and if you don’t consume a lot of dairy products, you may not even be aware of your lactose intolerance. The gene test will help to clarify that. Our app will create a personal diet plan that excludes lactose from your menu.
